Evenings witha plot twist.
We write the evening for your group, then run it on the floor ourselves, start to finish.
Murder mystery
Your people walk in as themselves. Ten minutes later, nobody is.
Original storylines, character dossiers, storytellers, a live cast, props and production, and our team running it on the night.
Written for you
Every storyline and every character is written for your event. Tie it to your industry, a subject or your campus, and we write to that.
A live cast
Storytellers and actors stay in character all evening, dropping clues and stirring trouble at exactly the right moment.
Props and production
Printed dossiers, evidence guests can hold and a room dressed for the story, set up before anyone arrives.
The character dossier
Nobody arrives as a spectator.
Every guest gets a sealed file with five parts. Tap a card to open it.
The shape of the evening
Three hours, door to debrief.
Every act ends on a deliberate cliff. The storyteller holds the pace, not a script the room can outrun. Timings flex: a tighter two-hour version, or a longer one with dinner built in.
Bigger group? It splits into rooms that run in parallel on the same clock, each with its own story, killer and storyteller.
Arrival
Registration, room allocation and character dossiers handed out. Guests read in.
Briefing
The storyteller opens the world, sets the rules and announces the death.
Act One
Introductions, alibis on record, the first public evidence drop.
The break
Refreshments. Conversations carry on in character, and most of the useful trading happens here.
Act Two
The second evidence drop, rumours in circulation, a live character enters and private deals open.
Act Three
Final evidence, a second live character and closing arguments on the clock.
The reveal
The room votes, then the storyteller walks everyone through what really happened.
Debrief
When more than one room is running, everyone reconvenes and hears what the other rooms were solving.
What it quietly builds
It feels like a game. It works like a workshop.
Four things your team practises all night without noticing.
Turn it into a programmeReading people
Guests judge testimony they can't verify, and learn fast that confidence and truth are different things.
Information as currency
Nobody holds enough to solve it alone. Every clue has to be traded, and every trade costs something.
A voice behind a mask
A character gives quieter people something to hide behind. They speak up because it isn't them speaking.
Competing incentives
Every character carries a private goal that pulls against the group's. Collaboration has to be earned.
Bigger than one evening
On larger projects, we produce end to end.
For brand activations and multi-day events. We describe this work by capability, because we only name clients with their say-so.
Event websites and microsites
A home for the event that sells tickets and answers questions before anyone has to ask.
Sponsorship packaging
Tiers, decks and the follow-through, so partners know what they are paying for and get it.
Brand activations
A reason for people to stop, play and remember the brand that brought them.
Event identity systems
Names, looks and signage that make an event feel like itself on every surface.
Confirm the date. We start writing.
Writing every character takes time, so we ask for three weeks' notice. Tell us the group and the date, and we'll take it from there.
